Huskies
Thrilling Day with Siberian Huskies and Snowmobile Safari
Huskies in the morning, snowmobiles in the afternoon
Operated by Pure Lapland
An action-packed small-group day: drive your own husky team through snowy forests, enjoy a Lappish lunch and ride a snowmobile along a frozen river.
Dog sleds have been an invaluable way of transportation in Nordic history, used by everyone from seal hunters to postmen. After quick instructions from your guide, you'll soon find yourself whizzing through snowy forests with a crisp wind on your cheeks.
After the morning adventure with Siberian Huskies, warm up in a local restaurant over a delicious light lunch.
In the afternoon, put on your helmet and hop on a snowmobile. The safari takes you along Lapland's beautiful frozen river through pristine forest, with photo stops along the way. Depending on the day, the order of the activities can change.
