Experience the captivating beauty of the Northern Lights on a snowmobile tour in the Lappish wilderness. Ride through the Arctic night as your guide leads the way, and take a break to look for the Auroras while warming up with hot drinks by an open fire.

Venture deep into unlit nature, where the only light comes from the moon, the stars and the snowmobile headlights. With a bit of luck, you'll see the Northern Lights dancing in the clear night sky.

This excursion suits adults best. A valid driving licence is required to drive, but children can join sitting on a sledge under warm blankets. Note the late time of the excursion.

Please note

  • The programme lasts about 4 hours; driving time is around 2 hours depending on weather and participants. Northern Lights are not guaranteed.
  • Drivers must bring a valid, original class B driving licence that is recognisable in English. Provisional licences and photographs of licences are not accepted. Without your licence you cannot drive, and no refund is offered.
  • 2 adults share 1 snowmobile. Single driving is available for an additional fee. Children and adults without a licence ride on the sledge.
  • Children cannot join if the outside temperature is below -20°C. A child over 140 cm riding as a snowmobile passenger pays the adult price.
  • The driver is responsible for damage to the snowmobile, with a personal liability of €950 per person per snowmobile in an accident. Optional insurance purchased on site before the tour costs €15 and reduces liability to €150.
  • Missing your meeting time or meeting point means missing the safari, which is not refunded.
  • Alcohol consumption is not allowed during the tour, and intoxicated guests cannot participate.

Meeting time is approximately 19:00 (transfer departs 19:05, activity 20:00–23:00, drop-off around 23:30). Your exact meeting time is confirmed by email the day before.
