How do you catch fish hiding under a one-metre layer of ice? Find out as you head ice fishing on a frozen lake amid beautiful winter scenery.
Travel 20 minutes from Rovaniemi by minivan and take a short walk to the lake. Alongside fishing, the frozen lake is an ideal setting for landscape and wildlife photos.
Your guide teaches you the basics of ice fishing, sets up a campfire with hot drinks and snacks, and of course you fry the catch of the day.
