Backcountry Skiing Adventure
Ski off the beaten track into Lapland's snowy wilderness
Operated by Beyond Arctic
Learn the basics of backcountry skiing and photograph untouched Arctic forests, with sausages grilled over an open fire.
Cross-country skiing is a fascinating sport and an age-old, environmentally friendly way of getting around in Arctic conditions. On this tour you learn the basics and enjoy a photography trip through the wilderness.
Special skin-based skis let you leave the known tracks and glide straight into the deep snow, far from the usual tourist spots.
After skiing and photographing, stop at a wooden shelter to grill sausages over an open fire. A professional photographer guides the tour and shares tips on landscape and nature photography.
